Emotional Downfall to Emotional Uplift: Bella’s Copywriting Example #3
An unique twist with copywriting to capture a potential lead with a new service. Using website design and QRcode to promote bookings — Emotional Downfall to Emotional Uplift.
Hello, my lovely,
Welcome to my 3rd example and explanation of my SEO copywriting skills.
My goal is to help you understand that writing is an art. It can be fun and inviting, too!
The idea for this blog is to connect with you and to show you how copywriting is valuable to your business.
What is the difference between copywriting (copy) and just writing (content writing)?
Copy = Emotional written email/blog offering a connection to get you to purchase.
Copy can also be in social ads or signing up for websites’ newsletters. This act is called a Call to Action - CTA. The CTA comes in the form of a “Buy Now” style button.
Content writing = Only information like sections of a website, an article, or a story.
Balancing a Negative Emotional Thought Into a Positive Resolution.

Semi-Real Scenario:
I was chatting with my massage therapist, who was telling me about Lymphatic Drainage Therapy.
At my last massage, she said my muscles didn’t need as much tension release thanks to my fitness regimen of hot yoga for strength, pilates, and weight training.
She did a lymphatic drainage massage because she noticed I was puffy in my armpits and one of my ankles.
We’ve been talking shop about her website, and bam! — There was my idea for this example.
BTW — I was flushed out completely after this massage. I felt uplifted and energized for weeks after. — See Testimony!
Semi-Real Client Goal:
A massage therapist wants to promote her newest service of lymphatic drainage massage while building her website.
Target audience — her current clients. Encourage them to scan the QR code after their visit. Directing clients to book on her Squarespace calendar. This QR code will lead to the “website coming soon” front page with information about Lymphatic Drainage Massage (LDM).
How Can My Copywriting Skills Help My Client?
Working from the client’s goal to connect to her new services for more bookings.
Now this style of copy is tricky and super fun for me to write!
I am going to tap into the less likely client who might be questioning if they should keep going to get a massage at all.
Again, Psychology is at work! — Get into their heads to help my client increase bookings.
Why should I keep going when my muscles don’t hurt?
Do I really need to spend the money?
My pain problems are solved. Why do I need to keep up with a massage?
Pain comes and goes. If you don’t maintain with continuous regiments, back to square one.
Since her clients are established, the goal:
To point out in the here and now — you might be good but …
Life stresses can hide in places we can not see.
To keep her clients coming back for a different array of services.
The website is designed with SEO keywords for potential clients to search on Google.
Scan the Code:
Upon check out, my client will tell her clients about her new website. Therefore, promoting convenient online booking and introducing her new website is coming.
Therefore, leading to her new services, blogs and newsletters!
I created a fake website on Canva — I prefer Squarespace.
I used a pre-made massage therapy template and inserted my client’s goals of LDM.
I would use the client’s pictures to promote a homey feeling that her clients recognize.
QR Code at Work — Promoting Website Traffic!
If you haven’t opened the link to view side-by-side. Click here to follow.
As soon as the website pops up. I tackle a negative thought and attitude created by the client.
This is the downfall.
Would it make you curious? — Most likely.
Scroll to the 2nd Section:
Then I twist it into a positive light with something they didn’t know was affecting them.
This is the uplift — the “oh really"?”
I sprinkle in facts from the massage therapist's point of view to help her clients.
Adding in how normal it is to overlook the Lymphatic system.
Encouraging the Client to Book an Appointment:
The 3rd Section offers:
Helpful “De-Clog” the body.
Tossing in a little funny sass.
A blog is coming soon, explaining some helpful tips!
A QR Code to share with friends.
You Experienced — Emotional Downfall to Emotional Uplift:
Sales vs. Marketing with Current Clients
A sale is a purchase of services. Marketing at the purchase of a sale can include: Signing up for a newsletter, scanning a QR Code to read your latest blog, or booking services through your website.
As a business owner, it’s natural to ask your client:
At checkout, when they want to book again.
Or state, “See you next time.” Then agree knowing you will see them again.
The client sees it as their next appointment, you see it as a pending Sale of Service.
Let’s say the client needs to check their calendar.
Having a QR Code by the card machine which leads to the booking link through your website.
Or inviting them to scan the QR Code to sign up for your newsletter or read your latest blog.
The QR Code leads to several CTA —Marketing.
A copywriter can create these small yet vital pieces of emotional marketing to keep you connected with your clients!
Website content is written by a copywriter.
QR Code created — offering to sign up for newsletters is an extension beyond the business doors.
Blogs are keyword searchable through Google for anyone curious about your services 24/7.
The Ultimate Goal:
A feel the need to stay connected, sharing QR Codes and word of mouth link current and potential clients to my client.
For my client to keep a strong connection with their current clients.
Promote their latest service or product via web search as their website grows on SEO Google searches.
Why Does Your Business Need a Copywriter?
As a business owner, you're always growing and learned to keep your loyal clients coming back for more while attracting new clients.
You own a business because you want to work for yourself and not others.
Though your business is 24/7, you don’t want to go home and write an email or a blog.
Writing takes a long time, and it takes away from your family time..
That’s where I come in: Connecting you with my SEO Power words to the digital world!
How Can My SEO Copywriting Skills Help Your Online Presence?:
If you are looking to build a website or need to clean up the content of your current one, I can sprinkle SEO searchable words to encourage Google to find you.
Design QR Codes for your clients to book, visit, or read your blogs — CTA — creating happy analytics reports.
The Benefits:
We are all busy and on the go. QR Codes are super helpful for your clients to scan and review later. Leading to your website, bookings and blogs. Staying connected on their time!
QR Codes = 1 minute conversation with your client in the moment, which leads to your website.
Having an SEO hosted website, like Squarespace, includes all the tools for Google to “crawl” your website.
A Website can be “under construction” yet reachable with basic information. Inviting potential clients to book services and contact you with questions.
I Loved Creating This Copy Piece:
Creating a massage therapy-based copy piece is a personal experience.
Creating this piece was very natural for me.
I enjoyed starting a website from scratch to get it out there.
Then work on the fine-tuning for the big reveal. Researching SEO keywords from a potential client's point of view.
Plus, tossing in what current clients are continuously seeking.
I live with pain just like anyone else. It was rare when I came to the table and was told I didn’t need a pain relief massage. But, I needed to detox my Lymphatic System.
Then my brain started to connect what my client wanted and what I wanted because I am her client.
BTW — she loved the example and is excited to get her website on a roll!
I will help her create it just like the example and build for there.
If you have any questions about this style of writing—“copy”, feel free to drop a comment or email me.

Cheers and prayers,
Bella
